   hey ya,thanx 4 advice yesterday its written down so i can tell the bloke nxt week...i had a thought.just b4 this started happenin i had my brake pads fitted at local little garage.so what has he moved under there?i cant get my head under coz its 2 low but any1 know whats near the brakes that he has fiddled with?am i on 2 a winner?cheers me dears x

   no your barking up the wrong tree theres nothing in the brake area that would cause your problems.
   
   Thats not to say they didnt mong something under the bonnet but its unlikely if all they were doing was changing brakes

   Had a further thought from yesterdays prob, when your bro refitted the cat can you see if he fitted the heatshield between the cat and the floor of the car? as I think the fuel pipe runs near there, maybe one of the other members can confirm that it does (or not).
   as the fuel pipe warms from cold you can get this vapour lock (not very common), wether this can happen on a modern car I dont know, you have to ask you mechanic.
