saxo brakes / pads

    got saxo vtr and brakes are alot more spongey than the clio i used to have is this normal or are my pads/disks pooped. do sports brake pads make a diff compared to standard ones . i.e omp or green stuff pads

    saxo brakes are crap, its common knowledge

    alot of people now tend to uprate the brakes

    not really that expensive, depending what your after, you can get brakes off another car which wont cost that much, could get a good front set up for 200

    best pads to go for ive heard is mintex 1144's

    dont go green stuff

    will that improve the brakin or am i jus wastin money unless i get the whole new brake set up

    not sure if the pads will improve the braking that much

    pads could cost you 50, not sure on that price, but you could get i think a 266mm 206 gti front set up for around 150, they fit straight on and fit under 14" wheels, you will notice the difference with them

    i have the gti 6 set up on my vts, miles better than the standard brakes
