Shock

Recently on my 1.1 theres been a knocking when turning left, juts a little to start with a few weeks ago but now it does it when turning left and right, only does it when turning and accelerating (even just accelerating slowly). It also gives a single clunk if turning when driving slow(like when you pull out of a parking space) only does that when the cars been sat for a while.

I took the car to my usual garage and they said the only thing the can find wrong is that the offside front shock is burst/leaking. Can this be right???? If not what else can it be??

Also what is a good set of cheap or reasnoble priced shocks that can be bought without springs as i've already got new springs(60mm)????

Try getting a second opinion, id think it would be unlikely that the shock would be leaking and causing this.

Ive had a few knocking bits on mine before and the cause of them has either been:

Driveshafts (Most likely)
Or possibly bearings
