Show Cage & where can i get a Rear strut

   Does a show cage offer any protection at all or are they more dangerous. As im not fitting something thats going to kill me as id rather have the real thing.
   
   Also rear strut brace - Anyone know where i can get one?

   Show cages offer no form of protection tbh. Thery are more likely to break in a crash and could cause you serious injury.

   theres no such thing as a rear strut brace for a saxo, because the rears on a torsion bar and has no struts

   show cages are gay. it will be more likely to spear you through the head in any form of accident than give any form of protection, a condom over your head would give better safety coverage

   if your wanting a roll cage mate then your looking at about £500-£600 i think for a 10 point OMP roll cage. as for your rear strut brace then as they are on a torsion bar then you can buy one, however you can upgrade the anit-roll bar for a thicker one which will improve handling.

   WTF are you on about? the whole rear beam is made so there is no point in having a "strut brace" if there was such a thing made for a torsion bar set up theres no point. as for the thicker ARB it should only be purchased if you know why and what it does,a 25mm (thicker) arb will increase the tendancy for the rear end to slide out if people are not driving correctly.
   
   also a 10omp cage is not 500-600. can be got for closer to 300 for 10 point bolt in, however the new omp type bolt in require box sections to be welded in before hand.

   yep new cage requires cutting of the dash. the old 182 type cage i think is still available through ppl like tweeks, someone irc said yday that they had 3 left.
