can vtr rockers be polished ???

    anyone polished a vtr rocker cover also any ideas ofr ecu covers etc i tryed chrome paintin myn then try bakin it ( yes im a dosy twat ) put oven on fare to hot n it it soon became flat with it being plastic

    If you do paint it and bake it.

    Place it in the oven at no more than 50°C for an hour.

    im not 100% sure that you can polish vtr rocker covers i know that you can polish vts ones. the ecu and fues cover are plastic so good look sith polishing them, lol

    paint them your self or get them off ebay, wouldnt dare pay £164 off that site

    i put it in at 140 lol without think thats wat i normally put t on at left it in a bit longer than i intended to lol na i aint payin that much if i had the time at work i could make stainless covers but can only do rush jobs at work. seen the painted rocker covers dont know wether to jus get a gold one of ebay or not

    Most polypropolyene plastics will become plyable about 1oo°C causing it to warp/bend.

    did much more than warp bend lol it came out flat tell ya waht tho the chrome paint dryed spot on haha ill get sum pics of the mess i made lol
    need a new 1 now

    You cannot polish vtr rocker covers!

    Can get them chrome plated but thats not cheap!

    yep expect to pay up to 140 for a chrome rocker cover

    i know a lad that says he can get me a second hand 1 for 30 quid asked him to get it so i can have a look wat u rekon on gold saxo vtr chrome or gold rocker ????

    gold, there on ebay at mo, used to want £30 i think now its £59 make and offer, search saxo rocker cover. was just looking at them earlier tbh

    yer ive seen em jus waitin on bit more cash as i needed to have a new radiator fitted this last week it was pissin out everywere lol

    i bought a electric sander to do mine... looked better than the rusty colour, went 1 better n took to a alloy repair garage n there blasted it n made it look mint for only 20£
