Front brake pad orientation

    Can anybody please help me? iv fitted new disks and greenstuff pads to my 1500 diesel saxo and bled the front brakes pushing about a pint of fluid through and the brakes are CRAP CRAP CRAP !!! I am not sure iv fitted the pads in the correct orientation so can it be done wrong or am i just worriing about nothing other than all saxo brakes are like this. Any advise please? Daz

    you will probably have fitted the pads correctly but Green Stuff are SH*T, this is talking from experience mate. they are meant for high powered cars such as 200sx's, mr2's, RX-7's, etc... as they need to be warmed up to work properly. if you leave them on you will notice that the disc's will be scored and that the pads will have a glazed on them. get rid of the Green Stuff and get some Mintex 1144's, about £20

    Ok thanks mate i just got confused as 2 pads have a hole in them on oposite sides but i didnt take note when i took the old ones off

    drivers side: hole at bottom on outside pad, at top on inside pad.



    passenger side: hole at bottom on outside pad, top on inside pad.
