Magnex ?

   I have an 03 VTR (98bhp cat in downpipe)
   
   Would a full system exhaust (de-cated) from a 2000 90bhp fit straight on?
   
   Or if not would I be able to fit just the backbox to the std system (without having to bodge it) ?

   yes it would aslong as you have the de-cat pipe aswel

   youd have to cut the centre pipe to fit just the back box on.

   to fit the backbox to a standard system i believe you have to cut about an inch or so off the standard pipe, which isnt hard really. ask predtor_vtr as he has done this. see his progress thread.

   Any decent custom exhaust shop should be able to sort this problem out for you and also get it sitting just right as sometime the Magnex sits alittle too far back and pokes out too far.

   I got a supersprint centre pipe (quick code 3HF45)to connect the magnex on my 2000 furio mk2 to the cat, it had to be cut and a coller fitted to the mag pipe to match the centre pipe, and the mag box was resited to sit flush, it took 50 mins & cost £20, guess who done it ...........kwikfit, and they done a good job.
