    Help needed here..

Just on my way back from work when i was sitting at some lights my saxo furio 1.4i started to vibrate quite bad and at first i thought i had a puncturer or flat tyre, but then i realised this light had started flashing on the dash?

Please tell me what the hell is happening.. felt as if my car was going to give out at any minute?

Please please please... help me !!

    Thanks

    could be anything really mate

best thing todo is get it booked in on a diagnostic machine and that will tell you the problem

sounds like the ecu has switched into safe mode. does it rev past 4,000rpm? as Paul says get it into citroen to find out what the problem is (around £30) then take it to the garage of your choice to get it fixed.

How much do you reckon this will end up costing me...

Did it recover pretty soon after? Sounds like a missfire, shit happens... As long as it doesn't make a habit of doing it, you should be fine.

I've went out to check my car now to check if the light still flashes, comes up and it doesn't?

Should i risk driving the car, whats the worst that could happen?

Should i just leave it and just pretend it never happend or what?

    HELP !!!!

Sorry to double post, but this has got me worried, cus at the time it was quite bad !!

Seems alright now though since i took it around the block just now...

Should i pretend it never happed or what.. and why would it misfire???

When it happened lucky i was close to home so i pulled up at my house before it got any worse...

ifits not doing it now dont worry about it just take it easy i suppose, if the lights not on the dash theres no fault on the ECU so if you do get it plugged in chances are its gonna say theres nothing wrong and you'll have wasted 30 nuggets, but if it does do it again get it booked in asap

depending what the problem is to weather its harmfull or not

if you leave it long enough t probley will fuck something up

ring a few local garages as most have diagnostic machines now

a guy round here charges £35 citroen will be alot more

OK, it was most likely a missfire. Things like this do happen from time to time. When were your spark plugs last replaced? It could also be a dodgy bit of fuel, again, these things happen. If it was a missfire, it's not going to cause any harm, so don't worry about it. A full service might be in order?
