Removal of the EGR valve

    Hey folks!

Can anyone please offer me a little advice on this one...?

After recently fitting a big valve head on my 106, I had the EGR valve disconnected from the old head, and not put back on the new one. We just made sure the hole in the side of the new head was all patched up. As things stand currently, the pump that does its business for the EGR valve is still connected, I've just tucked the pipe away in a little area near the ECU / headlight. I was thinking, I should really get the whole thing taken off... Can anyone give me some advice on how to go about doing this, and any possible causes and effects of this?

    Cheers!

there wont be any negative affects, only on emissions on startup.

Well, yes, it's already disconnected from the head. I was now thinking about taking the actual pump thingie out from wherever it is. (I haven't looked yet!)
