Cool thanks, are lightweight alloys like getting a lightened flywheel, less effort required to spin them?

speedline wheels are light weight as are OZ superleggras.
The difference may not be entirely noticeable but it will make a difference

umm i think i read sumwhere that superleggeras (without tyres) were 4.5kg each??? actually that seems unrealistic... but the VTR alloys or ur mk1VTS alloys weigh 18kg with tyres on so fairly big diff....

weird, the 106gti and saxo vts have 15kg in the difference and theres one complete second in the difference for their 0-60 times.

lol there has been mass debates about this like the 106 was loaded with more people etc... etc... i basically feel it was probably a marketing ploy by peugeot to get it in a lower insurance group, they are both as rapid as each other in my books

could be, i hear the gti's are better in crashs so maybe they do weigh that bit more. Volkswagen do the same with their gti golfs and tdi's. What i was hinting at was if you can get a second slashed off your time by 15kg then what would you get for 40kg from changing to superleggras!? and im getting a full carbon bonnet too
