Tyres

    Right then,

    Some of you might know that i currently have my track day wheels still on my car, so, Im in the middle of refurbing/respraying my normal wheels, and i need two tyres. what should i get??

    Yokohama A539?
    Dunlop SP2040 E
    Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3
    Or them Toyo's everyone always goes on about?

    alright mate ive just fitted some eagle f1's and can say i think they are amazing it grips and grips just doesn't want to slide at all now would deffo recommend mate but also my mate has toyos and says they are amazing also and have heard toyos and f1's are about the same

    toyo's are a good tyre but are a little on the soft side, so they tend to wear quick. not sure about the goodyears but some people rave on about them so they must be good.

    good years are great and will last so the best roed tyre for wear and performance. may want to pump them up harder as the tyre walls could be doin with being harder

    Ive got a539s mate and the car handle well but they dont last that long

    Ive had Toyo Proxes and the Yoko's

    The proxes are awesome, cant fault them in any driving condition atall.

    Yoko's were good in the dry but i found them to be appauling in the wet.

    my opinion is exactly the same as willsy'.

    i would go for the toyo.
