vts wheels problem

    hi was wondering if any 1 could giv us a bit of advice on what to do next i recently bought some mk 1 VTS alloys and they are rubbing the inside of the wheel arche was wondering if anybody else has ever had similar problems

    its definately rubbing the wheel arch?mines have starting rubbing aswell on full lock.ive had a look and found it being the brake flexi pipes in the road.have a look if you jack it up mate

    Yeah, it sounds like it could be the lip inside the arch. There are numerous threads on this. Feel for the lip on the inside of the wheel arch, then just flatten it out with a hammer or something. Then seal it with rust proof stuff. If that helps!

    edit: which arch is it? front or rear?

    Strange that they are rubbing,if they are mk1 vts rims they are 14's and there is no reason they should rub
    only reason would be if the arch lining is hanging down
    How low is your car

    sorri forgot to say its the rear and weirly only the rear right and i have mk2 i think it be okay if i get some 9mm spacers any1 know were to get them from

    my vts rims are 15" my wheel lining are secure enough as i put self tappers in but im due to take them out as there pi**ing me off.

    mk2 vts rims then,strange how they are rubbing buddy

    i know especiallly onli on 1 side to be honest thats why im thinkin get some small spacers move the wheel abit away from the arch becsue its onli rubbing abit any only when the car is fully loaded with more dan 2 people in
