Lowering saxo 1.0

   I want to lower it on 14" alloys so that it is lowered like a standard vtr. ne1 know how much low i should go and which springs to use, iv seen some gmax springs 30mm
   
   
   
   Also is it hard to lower the rear torsion bar urself?

   30mm would be the best for a 1.1
   
   Dont know about the torsion bar but i think you will have to be clued up about it to do it yourself

   torsion bar requires special kit, can be a bitch, pay someone else is my moto

   lower t bar and fit springs around 150

   will 15" alloys fit a standard saxo 1.0 without any problems?

   yea ive got a 1.1 and have 15"s on it no sweat, plenty of room for lowering to be done etc

   can u some1 tell me what offset ,tyre width etc. i need for 15 inch wheels to fit standard 1.0 saxo

   the most recommended size most people go for on a base model is 195/45 15.
   PCD either 3x98 or 4x108 and offset either 14 or 16.

    i got 15s on my 1.1 mate...got the front lowered 50mm...i am getting a mate to do the back as its ment to be a bastard....

    You will get some rubbing though with 15's and lowered 50mm in a flat arch saxo...

    yes david i do...u shoudl no as its your old car lol....getting the arch cut out soon...oo what is the tyre pressure aswell for them alloys?

    The haynes max power book has all the info for rolling both front nd rear arches but i dont know how good it is havent tried it myself! x

    Im alright with the mechanics side of it but ill leave body work bits too the pros! I dont fancy trimming the arches and messing up! =| x
