immobilser will not let my car start

    for the last week my car will not start because of the immobilser
    the light on the dash will not stop flashing
    i went and got an aerial for around the barrel
    it worked for a bit then stoped again
    my car is a 1.4 west coast s reg

    check the control unit for the immobiliser, its behind the glove box on the left hand side. pain to get to but make sure that its not loose. failing that then the key may need recoded again to the car

    you mean the transponder.

    could be loose. This is a common problem with saxo/106's.

    Just disconnect transponder from behind the glove box (little black box with a plug end)

    it will disable your immobiliser but car will start everytime.

    that is the immobiiliser, the transponder picks up the signal to open your doors. nothing to do with immob. that is also behind there.

    just had a look for the little black box cant see much so i will look tomorrow now

    yup, saxos are so solidly built.

    i found the little black box unpluged it and so did not work
    im taking the car to a garage tomorrow to get it reprogramed
    i miss drivin it now
