Just toying with the idea, rekon its worth it? Also how hard do you think that would be to wire up? Anyone got one?

for £100 i dont know what to expect, but I love the sound of a car with launch control ragging off!

    Ta,

lol bit overkill on a vtr mate, only really for drag strip queens You already have launch control anyway, it's called a left foot and a clutch pedal

Ive seen one of these in action on a Skyline GTR - Seems to me like it takes the fun out of the drive and just aims for the win...

Although they dont work like magic, still get wheelspin and the guy in the skyline had his clutch pedal juddering like mad on the launch....

Youd be better off spending 100 quid on tyres practising launching.....

anyone know how it actually works? ive been doing some research and people say it cuts the spark when limitng the revs.... anti lag on a NA car anyone?! hahaha

It basically will hold the car at a certain rev point set by the user. The aim is to pic the optimum revs for minimal wheelspin and max accelleration

yer sorry kam i know what it does but i want to know how it actually limits the revs, does it cut the spark like the actual rev limited up the top? If so am i going to get alot of un burnt fuel in my exhuast?

A little off topic. Well completely off topic. I see your from Salisbury bud, I live down in warminster if you know where that is

there are two options a soft cut and a hard cut.

The soft cut I think the unit gradually reduced the spark frequency as you approach the rev limit. The hard cut waits till you get to the limit and cuts the ignition completely.

You would get unburnt fuel released into the exhaust at that point.

Remember though your maximum power is below the peak revs so this is more a safety device that something to aim to hit.
