BHP Gains?

   I have got a MK2 VTR and at the moment i have got a:
   
   Magnex full s/s system
   GMC 4-1 Manifold
   Pipecross open foam filter
   
   Any guesses on what BHP my car will be running with these mods? I know the open filter will loose some power also!
   
   Although I will be changing my air filter soon for an enclosed one and then get some cams and a remap! So will be running:
   
   Magnex full s/s system
   GMC 4-1 Manifold
   Raceland enclosed filter
   Cams and remap
   
   What will be the BHP with these mods? Will I see somewhere near 120BHP?

   I'd say at the moment without a performance cam you are producing 105-110bhp..

   Yeah thats as you are now, as the exhaust with the manifold should see you near enough 10bhp anyway..
   
   Yeah you will notice a difference with an enclosed but your probs not going to gain an awful lot over a standard airbox with a green panel filter in..

   I have found a Green cotton enclosed induction kit on the GSM motorsport website, so might go for that one!

   yeah sounds good, green cotton are really good imo. With that your looking at a safe 110bhp providing your engine is healthy etc obviously.

   with an enclosed id say 105 - 108 mate cam kit would see it be beating a standard VTS

   cam kit id say around 200 - 300 remap is quite a bit say 400 maybe more

    easily £700 for a cam and re-map, and that will see you over 120bhp depending on how wild you go with your cam, atm that open filter is letting you down mate!
