ive just had my 1.1 lowered 45mm and wanna know what is the largest sized wheel i cud fit on without rolling the arches and what is the largest if i do have them rolled?

so at the mo ur running steelies on a lowered car

ive seen a saxo on 19's... and 18's but i doubt very much u wud get near to full lock on either but 17's is common.... with arch work like.
without arch work i would think its 16's with 195/40/16 tyres although these tyres are very rare... only a handful of companies do them one of which i think are continental

    is you'r motor a mk 1 or 2 . . .

if you have a mk 2 you will be abel to fit 16's without

many problem's but you will definitley need arch work

    for any bigger

if you have a mk 1 you will need arch work any way

but you should just be abel to get 15's on

hmmmm why does it matter if its mk1 or 2 dan?

the mk 2 has more depth within the arche's

i asked exactly the same question

i went to r - tech the other day to let them know about

my small problem with the dredded 3 stud hub's

with a mk 1 vtr / vts you can just about fit 16's

where as a mk 2 vts / vtr you can fit 17's with hardly

    any scrubage

i am but it's setting me back 250 just for that

then there's disc's , then ill only be abel to fit 15's

because i have flat bottom arche's , so ill have to have

arch work done , and the will have to be done by hand to

round the arche's off , so that's more cash

then ill have to have spacer's made for my car because

axel's are to short , so then finally ill be abel to get

    17's , there's tyre's on top of that

so i could just be rolling on steelie's for a long time

    hmm jus get 15's?

and spacers can be bought i reckon i dont think u wud have to have them especially made?

    "then there's disc's" - brake discs?!?

why not jus change the front/rear axles for VT* then u get disc brakes front and rear aswell:??!?!!? and u can get them from scrappy i reckon.
