Uprated Cams for a VTS Mk2

    what makes are there and which would people recommend.

    car is for road use but wanna get it done anyway for that extra bit of power.

    just wondering what is good and worth the money (prices also!) and what to steer clear of! this will be done in the future but dunno where in essex i can get it done. when it comes to my engine, its gotta be a good job as i cant afford for it to go tits up!

    would get a better response in the engine section mate.

    I'm thinking of getting camcam 708's for my VTS.. I've not heard anything bad about them.

    Think Piper & Kent cams are also good for fast road cams

    You'll be looking at about 300 - 400 for the VTS with it being twin cam.

    Newman! You can still buy cams on group price. I sow similar and even better results compared to 708's.

    Catcams, Piper and Newmans seem to be the favourites.

    I have Piper BP285s on the way.

    no there not pipers dont produce as much
