have to stick to Halfrauds then, i can get the paint made up in a spray can with the car colour code from my local shop, probably do that and take my time with it and when its fully finished i'll fit it. cheers guys

You don't need to take off all the white paint buddy.... Take off the laquer and make it a smooth and flat surface... then key the surface with some 1200grit wet & dry paper... but no you don't need to take it right back to the plastic... as long as the surface is flat and smooth, you will be fine...

some scotch pad will key an already painted surface mate you dont have to take it all off

one thing mate, the halfords spray cans dont match!! their posideien blue is not a very good match as i learnt the hard way. as everyone else says - get the paint mixed.

have done a tester spot and the colour looks fine to me

I bought the wicked red spray paint to spray my grill straight out a can at halfords.. and it's a perfect colour match! it couldn't be much better...

I guess i just got lucky

do a tester s8xowestcoast, get some scrap plastic and prime it up and so on, testing the colour itself on the scrap before you do anything on parts you are gonna fit.

mine is a perfect match, so ive gone ahead and primered my grille now, gotta resand and reprimer next
