how do they come off? do they just twist? it seems stuck to me and i dont realy wanna get the plyers on it! also do bee sting aerials fit?

Mine just twisted off. The bee sting arials are universal so yeah they'll fit.

hehe... ask the idiot that ripped mine off a week after i bought my vtr. they sheered the whole aerial off, right through to the u shaped bit o metal that holds the base down. if you prise out your interior light you can get underneath your aerial base and loosen the nut that holds it to the car. not sure if/how the standard aerial comes away from the base. i have a beesting aerial and had to buy a whole new aerial anyway for the car as i needed the new base. after fitting the new base the beesting just screwed onto it.

    they just screw off.

mines not unscrewing at all, the bit with the hinge in it that allows the aerial to move up and down looks like it will snap if i twist any more!

hold the base and get some pliers on the ariel and should come off

or goto the gym and get some muscles

theres like three parts of the aerial, the base, then a part attached to that which has the axle/hinge type thing in it and then attached to that is the aerial stem itself, im guessin i need the twist the bottom of the stem and hold the middle hinge bit down to prevent that twisting and snapping! do you get me?
