  3. #3

think its a vtr spoiler i have at the min as the boot was off a vtr with the spoiler already glued on.
  8. #8
i think the spoiler you have is the nicest saxo spoiler, along with the smaller VT one that came with the MK2s. thats just my taste but i think all the aftermarket spoilers look tacky.

ok chears buddy im having second thaughts now lol
  10. #10
You would need a full ott bodykit for that spoiler to work, and even then most people would say it looks stupid. I had it on my Saxo and thought it fitted with the rest of the kit I had.

You can buy them from www.autotintdesign.co.uk

thanks mate but if its ganna look shit on a standard kit i think ill just leave my spoiler standard
  12. #12
what about one like this. still too much?
  13. #13
IMO the only spoilers that suit a standard kitted Saxo are the mk1&2 spoilers and the Dimma spoiler.

    same spoiler im after

Man that would ruin your car i think. You would end up loosing your car in a supermarket trolley park. Your car looks really nice and tidy as it is!
  17. #17
any spoiler on a sax sept the standard one is shit it serves no purpose and makes your car look like a shopping trolley

    just my opinion!!!
  18. #18
if any where try scrappies as that is where they all belong lol
  19. #19
i personaly like it, im thinking about gettin a new spoiler, not sure what one tho
  20. #20
I was under the impression a spoiler was for providing downforce.
do you really need extra traction when cruisin down the high street at 20mph? spoilers on hatchback look skak.

    lol at ads

    spoliers can GTF

dont do it mate and get rid of the lexarse lights its ok how it is
  22. #22
In ref to the Bi-Plane spoiler I have that one which I got from www.cituning.ltd.uk

heres a few pics of it on my Silver S

Not to everyones tastes but I dont mind it, any bigger on a standard VT kitted Saxo might be to big. Check out cituning for other spoiler options or www.essexracing.com

yer but wich lights should i get im not too keen on the black lexaus lights neither but standards look shit with a smothed boot i want the alloys sprayed white too

Perhaps Clear ultras would work well with the smoothed rear?
  25. #25
    like these
  26. #26
A white saxo with that spoiler would look better then the 1st pic. So if you like the 1st pic you will probably like that spoiler on your car... wouldnt be my choice though

All styling mods are a personal taste thing, spoilers more than most as they change the shape of the car so much.

Try and find as many pictures of the spoiler you like form as many angles you can that way it will be easier to deside if you think it will suit your car and compliment the mods already done or future mods you got in mind.

The photoshop section is a huge help in these mattes

Did have a kit car spoiler fitted, but it had to go, as didn't have the correct paperwork for some tw*t in Motorsports House to look at.

Found one with the paperwork for £2000, so decided to go without.

    What!

How does that work mate? So for a spoiler you need paperwork? is that because its proven to increase down-force or something.

The spoiler needs to be tested to FIA spec for construction material and safety standards (Doesn't fly off at 100 mph etc), and unless you can prove you have the FIA homoligation papers, then you cant run it.

I have a photo copy but thats not exceptable. Even though we are only running basically a 'Clubman' spec car, we still have to comply to FIA/MSA regs. As there was an air gap between the boot lid and the spoiler, it was classed as an airodynamic aid.

Pisser really, as it finished the car off.

Stick with a MK1 VTS spoiler at the most mate. Dont spoil a nice white Saxo!
  32. #32
would look awfull on a saxo like yours. dont like the spoiler at all but positive side if you like it youd need a full bodykit to go with it or it would just look tacky and Over The Top really.

Most people would look at it and think "whens the kit getting fitted then"

see lot of cars round here with a big ass e-tech spoilers and such on and nothing else. not the greatest look hehe you got nice smooth tailgate tbh removing spoiler looks nice for a smooth look
