door pins

    Hello all,
Removed my door-pins today, didn't take long at all. I bought some gromits from Halfrauds (jumping on the bandwagon and calling it that...why do they call it that?) anyway although i think it looks good, i did really want a led in there. What can i wire it up to? or how do i completely mask it of (what materials needed) I dont ask for much do i?

if you want the led to flash when the engine is off, like an alarm led.
you need to attach one wire to an ignition live and the other to a permanent live.
if you want it to work only when the door is shut and the engine off, then use the permanent live from the door contact switch.

haha. Was yesterday the day for removing door pins? I did mine as well yesterday. Still got the holes there and want to either completely mask it over or shall just get some grommets. How much were they?

My door cards were a bast*rd to get off but job was done in 20 mins

they are 99p for a packet of 6 or something.

    i got 6mm grommits too, but I'm 99% sure I used the 8mms.

You can also get a flat-head plastic screw, cut the head off, and glue that down. Looks alot flusher IMO

I used the 8mm rubber grommits. They were round but they took shape well....my door cards came of easy. May do the front grill tommorow
