port and polish mk/bucks area?

hi every one i am looking to get my head ported and polished what sort of bhp increase am i looking at and a rough price? also could any one recomend a company. i will take the head off and strip it down myself that is not a problem. rep given

i might be selling a port and polished head off the vts engine i am splitting, jsut not sure if i want to keep it for myself as i'm still not sure if i'm gona cam it. pm me if interested

yeah there is a bungalow near wadston jsut outside aylesbury and the bloke in there does it, iirc they charge £400 for a gas flowed cylinder head port and polish service

i know a place in mk that skim and pressure test heads i wonder if they do it??
just had a look at the lad website n they do extensive headwork to go from 90-120bhp for 950? alot of money though

not to worrie i mgith stick it on ebay if i decide if dont want to use it or not as i havent got the money to cam my vts yet and the head is jsut gathering dust in the garage

no sorry mate, i jsut pop in when i need a quote, the £400 quote they gave me was for the cheapest package they do and thats with you supplying the head off the car and having jsut hte inlet and exhasut ported with it getting gas flowed, there are many extra options from 3 angled valve seats to bigger valves, prices varied from £400-£1200

hey scot did any smoke come off the tyres when i pulled away earlier as it stank of burning rubber jsut after i pulled away lol

Havent been to MK cruise since last year some time when the Police took 30 mins to check my car over and try and find every single thing wrong with it. What's it like nowadays? I've only been to Bedford Cruise recently.

yeah i went to the bedford/kempston one last sunday was quite busy. dropped in to cranfield on the way back to see a scooby had crashed over a traffic island!!!

lol must have been off the front wheels as it stunk inside, i've given it plenty of stick when on on a motorway/dual carridgeways but i've never realy pulled away in it like that before, felt like my neck was gona snap as it whipped me right back well harsh compared to the turbos i've owned, mined u this beast is running 254.8bhp, i should have took u out in it

haha, yeah I always do to Cranfield on the way back as well. Have seen a few cars fly out of control on those rounabouts. There's a few of us round this area now, we were talking about doing a meet again some time soon.
