#2any ideas people?
-
#3my standard sits like that, be interesting to see the comments
-
#4get new supporting/mounting brackets maybe?
sorry dunno to be honest just thought id try at an input! -
#5it looks like the clamps may need slackened then exhaust swisted then retightened if that fails try bending the exhaust hangers on the exhaust slightly
-
#6Put a jubilee clip around the exhaust rubber and then tighten it up until it sits how you want it
-
#7new exhaust rubbers and tie wraps
-
#8cheers mate i'll get that sorted on the weekend

-
#10new rubbers and maybe tie raps
first undo it all and see if you can get it ligned up better that way -
#11step one. remove the gay lights.
if jubilie clips over the rubbers dont work.
bend the actual hangars so they are firther up into the shell as to speak -
#12I thought them piper ones sit at a bit of an angle?
-
#13Best thing to do if you havent got access to a set of ramps or pit, take the car to a desent exhaust fitter Not Kiwk-Fit or Hi-Q and ask them to look at it.
Its probally the hanger on the back box that isnt quite right. -
#14also have to be careful wen shortening the exhaust hangers as the centre silencer may hit underneath the car, or if loosing it and the clamp doesnt sit right it will blow..... Will have to have a good play with it, there isnt much i can do with mine, i blame the shitty kiwik fit centre section! Going to get supersprint centre section though so dont have to worry about no silencer hitting off the bottom of the car!

#15Saxo exhausts ive had when rotated raise UPWARDS so turn it clockwise should lift it upwards and depending on the pipe work may raise it slightly. long as it stays lined up should be fine.
if not yup tie wraps and diff mounting rubbers the way forward
