Removing Resinator Box from air filter

   jujst wondering if this is fine to do?
   ive got the standard air box on my vts with pipercross panel filter, was thinking of replacing the resanator box with a straight through cold air feed,
   
   it seems this is comman practice amongst some other car owners, is there any benfits or downfall for it on a saxo?
   
   im not expecting an extra 30 bhp by the way

   yes you'll be fine although it'll be a bit louder. Use piping from halfords, b&q, plumbing pipe, anything you like really that does the job Still won't be as quick as mine though
