   To wire them to the Cig lighter do I have to take center console out? Cheers!

   u mean hard wire them??
   
   if so then no
   
   if u put ur hand and head under the passenger foot well then u will see the back of the cig lighter u will then see that it clips out just clip it out and wire them in that way obviously cut the wires and either solder or crimp them altogether

   If you give it enough brute force from behind mate the cig lighter will pop out and expose the wires, then you can go from there!

   doesnt have to be on the cig lighter wires and switched live with an inline switch and earth

   Hey i have two small cold catholdes both on each footwell but i am thinking about putting some somewhere else e.g in my boot?? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

   Truegunners: you can wire them directly of your bootlight... or if you have a sub and amp you can wire them off your amp... like the neon i have in my false floor amp window
   
   
   
   I had to run a 12v feed to a voltage guage in my b-pillar... but i decided i didnt want to take my console out... so i have run a cable under my carpet and seats to my amp.... tis easy

    i think a neon for boot installs i would wire to the boot light switch so it only comes on when boot is opened

    I am going to attempt that.
    
    my friend who works in mMaplins said he can get me 2 sets of 2x Neon cold cathode tubes that come with the inverter box so I may aswell wait till thursday.
    
    How do you tap into the boot light?

    put your hand behind it and pop it out, saxos are held together by clips and torx screws

    yeah you can take the switch out or the bootlight up to you but there easy to do
    
    then just wire them in using one of these connectors
