Removal Of Driveshaft

    Ok can anyone tell me how i remove the ofside driveshaft out of the gearbox!

    is there any special tools needed, or a pin holding it in! cause i just didn't want to pull the sucker and have it all go wrong on me!

    SO if anyone can help it would be greatful!

    please i need help! i've done it on an ax peice of piss..... but some one on here has got to have done one before!

    as far as im aware it should just slide out but ill go check the haynes manual

    well it doesn't!

    that is the offside one isn't it Scott!

    its like locked on i didn't know if there was a snap in clip on it or something cuz it moves about half an inch then locks out like something is stopping it!

    you know what its like dont want to pull to hard just incase you do more damage than good!

    what do you mean with off side is that pass. or driver side

    Offside is know as the Driverside and Nearside is know as Passengerside!

    i need to know how to remove the driverside driveshaft......

    so if anyone can help it would be great!

    ah sorry thought you meant the passenger side to

    the driverside one will probably ahve intermediate bearings, loosen the bolts then turn them 90 degrees so that their offset head are clear of the bearing outer race. Then you should be able to pull it out.

    Hi was wandering if anyone knows how to change the driverside intermediate bearing on the driveshaft. i can remove the drive shaft fine its just the replacement of the actual bearing i need to know about

    it's just held in with a circlip
