Can anybody give me any links to some good sites for coilovers and performance replacement pad and disc kits.

Sorry if this has been asked before, cheers.

dont use comprake coilover conversions thats for sure.

    H&R coilovers seemed popular.
    KW also do some coilovers

dont get the cheap FK range

    Ok, cheers ryan.

Was also looking at bilstein, i need some decent stuff as trackdays are looming.

Will have a look at KW and H&R and compare prices etc.

    Cheers

    H&R irc were about £7-800.
not quite sure off top of head though.

if your doing track days. why not just get some good billies with custom springs, then you can spend the money on some decent torsion bars and a nice arb,

and the kw ive not got personal experience of on a saxo, been in 2 golfs with them on though.

the former uk wingswest demo golf being one

think its the variant 1 kit for saxos irc.

£800 is a bit pricey tbh, i saw some bilstein sus for just over £400.

Iam getting a new torsion bar anyway for the 16v lump, want rear discs. Getting some nice rear dampers too..

18th coming up this month so the parents are splashing out abit on my sus and brakes.

    Cheers for the help anyways.

    a new torsionbar??

you mean a set of bars?
to get rear discs youll still only be on a standard vt rear bar, unless you buy uprated ones from pugsport.

soz, i meant whole new axle, lol.

demon tweeks want £650 for KW varient 1 kit.

i'm not getting anything too fancy, just good enough for a few trackdays so a VT rear axle should do for me, but i need coilovers as i hate my lowering springs!

shame as for the price of those you could have a very good and cheaper set up of full shocks and custom front springs..

keep looking in the usual places for different ones though

Ok, do you know what those adjustable damping kits are like? They have (for example) 40mm lowering springs on proper dampers..

If i can save a bit of money there i can get either better brakes or some bits for the engine..

Just waiting on next paypacket and engine mounts and brakes will be bought, woo.

read the suspension guide alex wrote.

has some very good information for which may see you a good set up and save some money.

ah ok, cheers for the help.

if you dont want to spend the money on a decent set i wouldnt bother. as ryan said billies custom springs are fine. i mean how much adjusting are you gonna actually do
