lowering always makes a big difference. are you lowering with a full kit or just springs on the front?

Ive accepted your request to join the West Mids section too btw, you should be able to access that forum now

For lowering as a rough cost itll be around:

£50-£75 for the front to swap springs and shocks over on a full kit
£80-£150ish for lowering the torsion bars and fitting rear shocks

Fitting prices will usually always fit into that range then it just depends if you want to spend £50 just on front springs or £200ish for a full kit depending on which you choose

Thats not too bad ive just got to find a place in tamworth that will do it for a reasonable price. Where did you get yours lowered?
  13. #13
I first got mine lowered at the Peugeot Specialists in Nuneaton a few years back but theyve since put their price up quite a bit on the Torsion bar side of lowering.

I did the front lowering myself first time on their Ramps on a Saturday morning.

Since then i re-lowered my torsion bar myself.

Not sure where else in Nuneaton does it now.

JPSaxo on here and his Dad do it in their spare time for £70 on the rear, they do a very good job on it aswel. He's in the middle of putting a VTS engine into his Saxo at the moment, but might be free again in a months time, worth giving him a PM- he lives near Market Bosworth which isnt too far away

hey i was just about to ,oumt my light switch onto my dashboard but i then realised that when i drill into the little socket as shown below it might crack the plastic?? suggestions are welcome...

    Bump

Go scrap yard and buy another switch like the ones your hazards are on

then wire your lights to that

    or

try taping both sides and drilling very slowly but it will be a pain in the arse for a switch that size (large drill bit)
  24. #24
sounds like a good idea, can you think of anywhere else i could put the switch??
  25. #25
In one of the door bins maybe?
  26. #26
I done mine onto the dashboard i aint got any pics just drill into the blanking plastc slowly it wont crack well mine didnt, then get bigger with the drill and slot your switch in. I got all my lights in the boot wired up to the same switch!
