    just brought a green open induction kit just fitted while fitting it i temporary removed this (circled) and it makes the car sound really nice with a nice deep note does this need to be on and will it affect the car thanks *rep given

    image didnt work its a small round box which is on the pipe to the air filter and also clips into the engine hope this helps????

    thats the breather pipe by the sounds of it.

    get a breather for it or a catch tank.

    Dont be tempted to plug the breather pipe as this will make the oil go sludgy more quickly and the engine wont run at at its best, like mentioned above by 'itsafastworld' get either a engine breather 'looks like a small induction kit' or a catch tank.

    The breather will be the cheapest and can be bought from eBay, Halfords or most spares shops that sell aftermrket items.

    There usual under a tenner.
