mk1 meshed grill

   Have a mk1 standard grill at the moment.
   
   Would it be cheaper to keep the standard grill and cut out the plastic and then mesh it. (and how hard is this)
   
   Buy another sports grill from somewhere and get it painted.
   
   Or buy a second hand grill and paint it to math the car?
   
   Think first one is cheapest but how hard is it?
