    mine is a custom one

yes paul mine is too big but does sound very nice, would change of tail pipe make much difference in noise
  17. #17
if they change the back box possibly if they just change the tip i doubt it
  18. #18
think im gonna have a trip down tomorrow, see how much they would charge but reall want to now more and more i talk bout it
  19. #19
Oval easily, thats whats goin on the furio eventually
  20. #20
Its not really the tailpipe that changes the note but more the size of the opening from the can and the can itself.

ie you could have a round tailpipe and a oval tailpipe if the back box is the same inside and the hole the exits from the can into the tailpipe is the same the note wont change.

Id go for an oval the one at present is a tad too big. What kinda setup you got exhaust wise? Manifold, cat, centre box etc etc
  21. #21
just straight thru no centre silencer,
  22. #22
You looking to go custom again or direct fit off the shelf?

Im not sure who these days make a decent oval tailpiped back box?
  23. #23
been in touch with longlife and im gonna go down tomorrow to take a look at there ovals and get a price
  24. #24
Went to the exhaust place today and founda couple of tailpipes but stuck between 2 now

and then that one but slash cut slighty, very similar to this

Just not sure, some more pics of oval exhausts on saxo would be brill
  25. #25
first one is best mate, willsy has an oval one if he hasnt already posted it up
  26. #26
its just the the rear bumper slants the same way as the second tailpipe and then would look good, if you know what i mean

Have a look at Dannyjay's progress thread

He has a piper oval exhaust and it sits perfectly! It looks great
