Rear drum prob when refitting

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME !!!
My Saxo failed mot on rear left wheel bearings but i was advised to just buy a new drum and bearings to save getting the old one pulled which i have done but when i put the new drum with the bearing on all looks good until i tighten up the drum nut which as it tightens stops the wheel from turning as thpough the brake is on but its not. I have checked that the bearing is in as the old one was and all looks good but as soon as i tighten up the last turn or so the wheel jams up. Please can you help me? Daz daz57992@aol.com

guessing u might have to let your adjusters off a little as the new drum will b slightly smaller !

ye i took them all the way back its not the brake on its as thought tightening the nut is tightnening the bearing so it cant turn

Iv found it !!! the circlip on the replacment bearing kit has shoulders on it so the washer needs to be ground down or use a diffrent washer because the original circlip is shoulderles and non replaceble. Because there are shoulders on the replacment when i tighten the nut it is pushing the washer against the bearing. Prob solved but why o why o why do they sell a kit that will never work without modification????????!!!!!!!!!!!
