   Hi everyone i recently purchased sum spot lights on ebay for a very cheap price but really i brought them due to boredom and im now wondering where i should i fit them?? any suggestions would be helpful. thanks.

   No where personally mate, are they road legal? If they are and you really want to fit them put them in your bumper grille, by the slates?

   i think the legal issue is no bulbs showing......not the actual shine from lights like that!

    well if there blue its classed as immtating an emergency vehicle, so if you are to put them on use an inline switch or even better use them in the interior

    Whe i read up on this a number of years back cos i had 8 neons thorughtout the interior of my car......i made sure that no bulbs were visible.

    Id do what oz has said. As if you put them in your grill at front. Police will pull your pants down if they see you with them on.

    ive never seen anyone put them in a bay before good thinking mark, just as long as you dont put them ner were it gets really hot ie exhaust, manifold etc

    Hey i like the sound of this idea as it means that when i open the boot the light will come on. could some one please explain or show pics on how to wire the lights to the light boot as im not to sure?? thanks!

    well you can either wire it into the switch that depresses when the boot closes or the actual light
    
    the switch just pops out, then its just a case of splicing the live into live and earth into earth
    
    if you have a multimeter you can determine which is which, and as laways disconnect the battery before doing any electric work

    lol ill have a look later on, im sure they have writing on them to tell the difference, either that or its one wire with a line down it which would be negative
