if i go for 14" wheels and 50-60mm lower on saxo 1.0 standard will archwork be needed?

if i go for 15" 50mm lower will archwork be needed?

the tyres i will get are gonna be 195/45/15

if archwork needed what will i need to get done and how much has it cost you lot to do it?

guy at garage quoted me £100 for putin springs in and torsion bar lowering.

    cheers

If you're going to lower it more than 40mm then you will need dampers unless you want the ride to be completely shite.

You might or might not need archwork on 14" but definetely will on 15" but it's fairly easy to do, Willsy did a guide if you search you will find it.

Im down 50mm on 15's with 195/45/15 on my 1.1. The only arch work that i needed to do was just to file off a little bit of metal from the rear arch where the rear quater panel bends into the arch. It wasnt a lot that needed taking off. If you want to have 3 people sitting in the back though, you may need to get the fixings for the rear bumper repositioned.
