Colour coding question? Plz Help.. How they do it??

    When they colour code the side bumpstrips of the car... do they mask around them and spray them that way? Or do they spray the whole bottom panel?

    i took my whole kit off and then masked it all off, well almost, got a little overspray in places but tcut it off. i just sprayed the strips but had to spray one panel do to some heavy scratches i had to sand out.

    im going to get another set of arches and side panels and spray the whole things as there are a couple of bits where you can notice the difference slightly but the one panel i sprayed fully looks good

    hers is what i did, it looks rough in pics cos i hadnt flattened and buffed them up, i did mine with aerosols aswell as im on a tight budget lol

    were the strips you sprayed rough in texture? did you prime them or anything?
