Induction kit on me 1.0

    I want to get a induction kit but not sure on fitting it. Haynes manuals, as usual, arent giving alot of help. They seem to think every saxo owner has a VTS lol.
    anyway i know it aint going to make me lil engine into a beast but i want a bit more power and sound. can anyone show me a pic of their engine with induction on or offer any help, maybe teach me a bit too

    You should get fitting instructions with the kit mate, it's reallt not that difficult tbh. You wont see any power gains from an induction kit on a 1.0

    ye i thought as much mate, you know anywhere i can get me hands on a good cheap induction kit for me 1.0? probaly K&N will be best i think.
    also me m8s got 106 1.1 and hes got a K&N "style" kit lol just the filter basically, can he still use it or he need a bunch of tubeing ect to fit it. Im thinking if i get mine he can copy instructions and buy extra parts. But hes thinking he cant do it on his car the dum b***ard

    the air filter mounts on to the neck of the throttle body on your car mate. you will need to measure the outside diameter of the throttle body, then get a filter that will mount to this, then attach it with a jubilee clip. i would recomend a length of large tubing to direct cold air from the front of the car to the filter, as cold are is a must for the engine

    you can get lengths of pipe work to move the filter closer to the front of the car, but you would need silicone hosing of the right diameters to mate all the parts together
    may be cheaper getting a full kit bud

    what would you say is best, a cold air intake from front of car aimed at induction near the back or tube the induction to the front. Would the K&N kit come with any tubing at all?
    Heres a pic of my engine:


    I know its quite hard to see but am i right in saying the 2 red circled parts are air intakes, i know the front 1 is but the car manual says the 1 under the windscreen is. Anyway and the orange (if you can see it) circle is the air filter? and then the 3 yellow circles i drew on im not sure what there doing, is the 1 at the front air coming out of the engine?! and the rest of the stuff where the air filter is im not sure whats goin on there .
    im trying to learn all this stuff, so any help be appreciated
