Decat on a Furio - Any Louder?

   Will fitting a decat pipe to my 1.4 furio which has an ashley 4" backbox make it any louder?

   Yes, you may get a few pops too if your lucky.
   
   But will deffo be louder

   Yes will be louder mate! I have just put a de-cat on mine and had a few pops! Also taken out the centre silencer and now its alot louder and pops even more!

   as said above it will pop like a mofo when down gearing, and to answer your question, YES it should be louder, how much louder depends on what system you have though tbh!

   decating mine today finaly, my vtr, on a standard exhaust system tho till next month when ill order my scorpion system
   
   got a 4-2-1 manifold too should i notice much sound difference etc with standard exhaust from decat back

   furios ent got center silencers either so will sound great. Gettin a de-cat pipe on mine soon.

    what was your out come, i eventually got magnex centre section + de-cat pipe coming, so can now put magnex backbox on, wonder what will sound like with gmc 4-1 manifold

    Yeah outcome was good mate.
    
    Pops a bit when changing down through gears etc and sounds nice when the engines warmed up a bit, sounds like its blowing loads tho, i know its not at either end of the decat pipe, i have a small leak at the back next to the box, but full stainless end of the month anyway so not to worry.
    
    But yeah over all i love it

    and thats on a standard system? mines brubles with just gmc on, dont like it at times as sounds like its blowing but its not, full stainless for me by saturday, be putting de-cat pipe on aswel! will test with cat in then wip that pussy out!

    yeah mate standard system all ive got is raceland 4-2-1 and decat rest is standard system, thats on a mk1 vtr, im guessing youve got a early mk2 with the cat under the car if your running a gmc manifold already and thinking about decating.
    
    but yeah sounds well good, pops when you rev it to 4,000 rpm, and sounds well nice when you nail it and drop down into second at high revs going round corners.
