Is this over the top?

   I was looking at the engine bay the other day and started to think its a bit over the top with all the blue? should I redo it in silver to match the body? what do you think?

   yeah go for silver as it doesnt match the car as it is now.

   Get a cheap strut brach from somewhere like www.rallydesign.co.uk and colour-code that Blue as well.
   
   Also you really should connect a pipe to that enclosed filter and link it to the front of the car as all you will be doing is sucking hot air in and then all it is a nice looking bit of kit and nothing else.
   
   But I like it. Be nice at a meet or show as most people like something to look at other than Black, Grey and dirty Silver bits
   
   
   Oh and lose the Chrome whiper blades - Tack city mate

   Wiper blades def going soon, just designing a inlet pipe for the filter, its on paper for now, should be on in a couple of days still in a dither about silver/blue

   All a case of taste really mate, if your looking for something alittle bit specail when you open the bonnet stick with it - I always like to see a well dress engine bay as it shows people have thought about more than just bolting bits on then shutting the bonnet.
   
   Just because its only on show when you open the bonnet doesnt mean it cant look impressive
