Oil breather + backbox

    Hey,

Ive just fitted a oil breaker to the pipe from the rockercover.

So now when I finally get my K&N panel filter and inresticted air pipe, do you think I can manage to get 70 lb-ft toqure over the standard 69? lol

Thinking of getting a backbox aswel, just to get a small amoung of rumble from the car.

Any online companys that you would reccomend to get a backbox that is designed for the Saxo and is pretty cheap?

    Cheers.

Alot depends on the engine, you might get a 1bhp and 1lb-ft from a panel and back box but in all fairness the back box isnt the problem.

Check out either www.performancentre.co.uk or www.motorsportsworld.co.uk for good prices on not just back boxes but all kinds of items.

Most people feel that around the 2.5'-3.5' single round is the most easy on the eye when it comes to the saxo with most going for the 3'

Heres a selection of Magnex fitted to saxo's, this is about the 3.5 inwardly rolled look, forget about the siliencer hanging down as that is a Magnex trade mark on the saxo and say a Peco or Sportex box wont hang like that.

Another popular choice at the moment is the Piper 4'Slash cut which looks like this

Either of these styles can be had from Peco or Sportex, personaly Id go for Peco as I think the quality is slightly better than Sportex. Expect to pay around the £80-£130 for a back box.

    Hope that helps

That is super thanks! Brill help!

I think I will be looking at a Magnex backbox then, looks really good.

bearing in mind your car is a 1.1 bumper mate, all the pics above are of exhausts on a VT bumper
