Will Supersprint fit?

  1. #1
    I have a VTS 2001,

will a supersprint race tube fit my standard VTS backbox?
  2. #2
    ja should be fine.

irc a friend did the same.

i had a sebring one with std box.
  3. #3
cool, do you think ill get much of a performance gain
as obviously my VTS will become decatted.

also, i will need to buy a Lambda sensor sleeve to stop the Engine management light coming on?
  4. #4
i thought that they were a cat back pipe. should check. if its for a cat in manifold jobby then obviously it will de cat a cat under car engine.

as with anything you wont see huge increases imo.

if yours has a 2nd lambda id recommend a sleeve for it yes.

those race tubes i thought were a backbox to downpipe fit.
All VTS have Cat under car.

i need a link to see it properly.

some people may see this and want to do it on an 8v, so i like to explain my posts and reasoning

the supersprint race tubes don't fit the vts back boxs i've tryed it on my 52 reg vts you need to change the back box as well. although you could get someone to make it fit with a welder.

ok thanks, also, do you know if it does decat the VTS, meaning, does it go right the way to dthe downpipe?
  9. #9
yea it can do there's a couple to choose from i've got one that gose from the down pipe straight through to the back box. sounds good and not to loud.

What is this about a lambda sensor then?

  21. #21
Matt mate, i think on GMC motorsport you have to buy a sleeve and tie the lambda sensor up in order to get rid of that light.
  22. #22
    Thanks mate

Know where it is on there because I can't find it
