corsa 1.6 sri vs vtr the ultimate chav rides

  1. #1
These two always get compared, i was wondering which one of the two has the best 0-60 time, power out put etc.
or from peoples experience which is faster, if anyone knows the corsa's statistics that would be great,

corsa 1.6 is a sport, and its faster off the mark and topend.. but saxo handles better.... 16v corsa's are very tunable

its the VTR he's comparing, not the VTS me duck!

Agree that the corsa is probably quicker but doubt it handles anywhere near as well!

on a drag strip a standard corsa would maybe just beat it, but round a track with curves, the corsa hasn't got much of a chance!

i raced one of these at pod, think he was a bit of a muppet. thought he was running the same power as me, lol. then i beat him by 2 secs, he got 17 something so could be close

sorry for the misunderstanding! least u got the spec now! lol

as said the corsa will be slightly quicker, but if you want to drive a chavs load of wank then carry on! lol.. They do look nicer than alot of hatches out there these days though.

    BUT..

The saxo looks better, handles better, stronger engine, nicer interior imo, the list goes on..

But vauxhall engines are tuneable but become even more unreliable..

The saxo and corsa arnt that different in looks they both look a bit gay, but with a few bits they can look real mean, as for handling i bet there same apart from the power steering on saxs is good, ecotec are shite, and saxo interior is the worst ive ever seen i a car, least with the corsas the sri interior is a bit sporty with the raised sides, but thats my opinion

TBH, my saxo has gone wrong twice, after 107k only the coil pack and ICV, thats it..

look after them and they'l look after you!

ditto, never had any major probs with the vtr that covered 120k, just the coil pack and ignition barrell. the rest was just normal service stuff
