    my birthday is in august which i know is a long way away but the girlfriend said she would pay for me to have performance cams and remap,i ve got a 4.5bar fpr togo on once cammed and ready to be mapped,anything else i can add before i get it mapped to help gain asmuch power as poss,as my car has just hit the 100,000 miles mark would you guys recommend changing the valves,springs and followers with the cams?is there a kit form of the 708 catcams as this is what id like

    i would change the followers mate, mite as well do the lot then you know that is going to be ok
    fpr will be sound
    708 cat cams are sweet.
    you got any other mods too,
    i would only get it re-mapped if you have a filter, manifold, de-cat and full system. then the re-map would be set up for all your mods, if you didnt have all the above and then got a few extra mods, you would only see a good increase if you had it mapped again with the new mods on.

    Bloody hell, lucky sod - She does know it will cost here near £1000 for Cams, fitting and mapping doesnt she?

    Although I think I can swindle my OMP strut braces for my birthday, but if she offered to buy me cams and pay for a remap, id be for years lol

    Where abouts did you find her then?

    Try a ported throttle body if your getting it mapped - Fairly cheap too.

    should be getting the ported throttle body soon gonna put that on before i sort the cams out tho!
