#2I got one on my westy and its good, built well etc.. has proven gains so unless you want to spend more, get a raceland!
-
#3i got one last week and fitted it the other day. a little bit of a fiddle to get on but top quality i recon! BARGIN BUY! try kamracing.com you get a discount because your a sax-p member. only £135 delivered mate. cant go wrong!!!
-
#4I agree, they are awesome value for money!!
-
#5holy moly 135 deliverd thats amasing! shall be buying one of those then cheers!
-
#6Yep im getting one in the next few weeks, Iv heard good things so far. Will I have to modify anything to get it on?
-
#7Shouldnt do, will need alot of patience though, i got an aftermarket exhaust company to fit mine..
-
#8umm, no shouldn't have to modify anything (i didn't anyway) the only thing is the lambda sensor but that is self explanatory when you get stuck in. just reposition is around the back of the engine and jobs a goodun! my advice is be patient, it is a bit fiddly but totally do able! it is rude not to for £135 delivered!!!
-
#9lol, james you let down! you should have tackled the job yourself (joke). how much did they charge to fit it?
-
#11have you noticed power increases? i recon i have.
loving your car by the way. you got the 1.4 as well? -
#12Yep I reckon il just get someone proper to fit mine.I can get it fitted cheap and I know itl be a good job and hell sort out the repositionong of the sensor for me
-
#13Yeah i defo noticed an increase in power, less throttle needed at certain revs and pulls alot better through the revs and from low revs gets up and goes better!Quote:have you noticed power increases? i recon i have.

Cheers mate, yeah its a 1400.. Probs one of the only people who like the 1400 engine, everyone else seems to love the 16v.. i cant blame them though!
If mine lets go whilst i have it will probs rebuild it to a higher spec and have a "special" 1400 rather than dropping a 16v lump in and having an "average" 1600 16v..
-
#14Yeah, if you have someone to do it for a small fee may aswell let them do it and know its done proper too!Quote:Yep I reckon il just get someone proper to fit mine.I can get it fitted cheap and I know itl be a good job and hell sort out the repositionong of the sensor for me
-
#15i noticed a slight difference with the raceland.
will probs feel a better increase if you had the car re-mapped once you have all the mods done that you want
carnt go wrong with the, tbh.
not too hard to fit either
-
#16bargain mate, especially when mine was £90 delivered to my door!
-
#17how comes you got it for £90
-
#18they are a bargain like i just dont like the idea of relocating the filter on mine so thats why am saving up for a GMC
-
#19how do they get "relocated"?
-
#20and to where?
-
#21I think you may be ok as you have a Mk1 - the Mk2 has a different oil filter with the cat in the o/e manifold
-
#22that cool then as im getting mine soon and cant be bothered to relocate the oil filter
-
#23i just recieved my 4-2-1 from kam-racing today. what can i say its soo nice cant wait to fit it. i have a mk2 1.4 furio and i luv it its my 1st car. just wondered as there are to sensors, where do i put the other 1 as i wont have a cat on my exhaust as its in the standard manifold? this has prob been answered before but i couldnt find anything and i have work shortly. Thanks heres a pic...
-
#24you need to buy a sleeve from somewhere like GMC for the second lamba sensor mate!Quote:i just recieved my 4-2-1 from kam-racing today. what can i say its soo nice cant wait to fit it. i have a mk2 1.4 furio and i luv it its my 1st car. just wondered as there are to sensors, where do i put the other 1 as i wont have a cat on my exhaust as its in the standard manifold? this has prob been answered before but i couldnt find anything and i have work shortly.

#25what does the sleeve do? will my oil filter on my mk2 furio need moving aswell? is there anyway i can get round the second sensor at all?
-
#26would a raceland be a direct fit on to a pug 106 gti?? might get 1!!
-
#27only on the mk2 with the cat in the amnifold otherwise they are fine!
i got one for £100 and i think its good for the money, only pain was trying to do the nut up underneath the no.1 outlet as it takes ages as you cant fit a socket on there!! -
#28is the 106 a gti?
-
#29there is only one issue with the racelands that constantly comes up and thats some people have issues where they cannot do the bolts up enough. All you need to do is pack it out with some extra washers and its all aok
-
#30Am I right in thinking that you only have to re locate the oil filter if its a saxo with the cat in the manifold?
-
#34the expensive way is to fit a remote oil filter.Quote:Am I right in thinking that you only have to re locate the oil filter if its a saxo with the cat in the manifold?
The cheap way is to fit a mk 1 oil filter and thread and plug the extra hole in the block. I'd go this route personally. -
#35so would a oli filter have to be moved on a saxo furio 2001 1.4 ?? as my cat is in the manifold
