    anyone else have huge probelms witht the track rod ends when removing the strut?

    I dunno, I will go ask my mechanic. Vince doesn't want to break his car, so he pays stupid amounts of money for a mechanic to fix it for him

    yes the thread and nut were completely whored. A lot of sweating shouting and swearing later it was off and in the bin.

    well after shit lots of wd40, and copious amounts of fat bastard pressure it still hasnt moved. think its grider time 2mo and then new track rod ends HAHA!!!

    gutting as i really wantd both the struts off today! so instead ive been hammeriting the whole inside of the arch..

    somebody kick me in the balls before i turn into a style whore.

    Rust proofing is not style

    On mine it started to loosen fine then the threads fell to pieces so it came down so far then would just spin

    sounds just like my droplinks then! and they were new lol!

    hopefully 2mo i can get faglex to help get them off, so my struts can have the new bearings fitted, and possibly some group Ns if i feel flash!

    do need some new topmounts though.

    then once the rear brakes are done i should be able to get it running and have a big ASW thread

    track rod ends are now off!

    thanks to a £8 ball joint separating tool!

    woot.

    unfortunately ive found a gash in my inner arch bigger than a prozzies wound

    just got some krust and underseal, so gonna try and stop the rust there, then find a portable welding person, might aswell get the cage feet welded in whilst theyre round
