#8Were yours curbed ste? what did you use to do them?
-
#9Curbed to fook.
ill get some pics up later on.
Halfords Project Pack of sandpaper & two cans of Steel grey paint. Had some primer & laquer in the garage so you'll need that aswell.
Sanded using grade 80. Got all the roughs out, the curbing wasn't very deep, just all around the rims, so i managed to blend it right in. Also had some seriously deep gouges on the centre of the rim, fuck knows where they came from.
Then a bit of primer on, then wet sand through to a fine grade until all the sanding marks are pretty much flat, then i put 2 layers of primer on, 2 layers of paint. And about 5 layers of laquer.
Its the first time ive done anything like it, and im crap at spraying etc but they have come out really well so id advise you to do it. -
#10Making a wheel refurbishment guide, should be up later just waiting for a few more minutes before i apply the laquer and get some final pics
