rattling noise

   when driving slow im getting a really annoying rattling noise, cant tell if its around the front suspension area or underneath the car, ive had it up on 4 poster ramps to try and find out what it is but cant find anything, any idea's??? its a 02VTR and it has been lowered 50mm, people are saying its because the springs are too short for the shocks but they have no movement at all when all the wheels are up off the floor.

   try moving the brake pads while they are in the caliper. it sounds like the antirattle spring isn't doing its job..

   Just though of something else it might be. Around the ball joint on the lower arm there is a tin protector plate to protect the ball joint. Sometimes these get abit loose.

   try looking at the power steering pipe may be rubbing on the tracking arm mate
