   there bollocks mate, i know theres a video of someone doing it with a leaf blower into the air intake on a rolling road and theres major results but the fact these electric ones are just basically a pc fan its not gonna be that good really lol

    the whistle noise achieved form forced induction is caused by the air being transferred faster than the speed of sound (supersonically) in case anyone was wondering lol, and no the electric supercharger wouldnt do that as its a load of crap,

    are you sure? As superchargers and turbos are basically the same design principle - just the compressor wheel is powered differently, they would in theory create the same noise if the cause was the air.
    
    The supercharger noise is due to the internal gear mechanism I believe.
    
    The electric superchargers are a joke. There is a guy who has built an electric supercharger on I think an Evo but it requires an horrific amount of power to run. I think he has two massive batteries in the boot due to the rapid power drain. There is an article bouncing around on the web somewhere.

    the power to run the alternator to charge the batteries that run the fan cancells out any power gains you may think you might have got.

    The fans are a Boats Bilge blower.
    
    So if you want to test how much more power you'll get buy one of them for about a tenner and stick it on the end of your throttle body.
    
    
    
    IMO, tried, tested and recommended parts are the only way forward.

    actually that might just flow enough lol. I calculate that the vts engine needs about 184 cubic feet per minute at full chat

    hmm i got a message back from the electric supercharger. He reckons it flows 1000cfm!! I wonder what a t3 turbo can flow...
