#2Most people go for the fixed bucket type as when fitting sports seats most people have already stripped out the rear of the interior.
As long as the subframes are ok I shouldnt see any problem with a reclining sport seat.
One thing to bear in mind tho is this . . .
When the OE factory seat is removed the OE seat belt mount is removed also as it is bolted to the seat. you can over come this by either using a rear seat belt mount and sandwiching it between the chassis and the subframe of the new seat or go for a harness.
Only problem with a harness is it limits the ablity to carry a passanger behind the seat with the harness. These can be purchased with a quick release buckle in the back so people can gain access to the rear but then you will need to reconnect it to drive the car leagally so in a fect your only be able to carry a passanger in the front and one in the middle of the rear because of the harnesses.
Well worth taking in to account before parting with your cash. -
#3Eh???
First of all to answer your question i have never heard a bad thing about corbeau seats or their recliners, I research them quite in depth before owning some for 4 years, Simo also has some Corbeau Boss recliners in the turbo.
As for the seat belt situation. The corbeau sub frames come with a bolting point attached for subframes/harnesses. Also using dual release harnesses, use the standard seat belts as well so when people are in the back you simply revert to using the standard belts. -
#4I thought it was worth mentioning about the rear seat belt situation as if you have rear passangers it can become tiersome having to unclip belts etc
Its just as easy to say - No rear passagers - That way your go faster too
