oil catch tank question

   is it better to attach a pipe to the intake to the catch tank or completely seperate it off from the air intake.

   completely serperate in from the intake system otherwise there would be no point in it mate! theres pictures of mine in my progress thread will be back a few pages in the photo section!

   Sam, can you please explain exactly how you have hooked you catch up? There's the obvious pipe coming from the top right area, but is there anything else?

   the crankcase breather hose should pass into an oil catch tank and the tank then vents to atmosphere.
   
   Thats the accepted way to do it.

   OK, thanks. That's what I was thinking, but I've got my threads mixed up! There was another thread mentioning that the catch tank had 3 areas for hosing... I was wondering if there was anything else going on...?
